Demonize the man with the demon eyes Arm the hand that feeds the hungry head’s mouth Jail the mailman, a senseless sacrifice While the sender sends his lies of what’s left inside A call for a wall to surround them all Built of brass and glass to outlast the rotten past We all fall to the thrall and embrace the trawl Set out to hunt the political outcast This is the sound of the residue of souls These are the echoes of the stories untold Stones that grind the gears of machines turn into dust Like sand that tears the eyes that lie behind the crust Spun around like a top by the top that’s turned Against the face that has become the base of this case A thousand years in jail with every match burned Crack the whips and set the pace for your blunt slaves This is the sound of the residue of souls These are the echoes of the stories untold Stones that grind the gears of machines turn into dust Like sand that tears the eyes that lie behind the crust Greedy hands that slap the child, set it straight And bring it back to justice, this is the right way (we cannot rely on your weak morals they need setting straight, a steady hand, a strong hand And all you can hear is bong smoke It drowns out every other sound) It’s about what feels right It’s about what seems right It’s about what tips the scales back to order Stones that grind the gears of machines turn into dust Like sand that tears the eyes that lie behind the crust Greedy hands that slap the child, set it straight And bring it back to justice, this is the right way Born to worship the wrong shade of green A sense of rightness blows hard from the right Taught to torpidly follow the wrong kind of dream Follow the smoke signals into the night

Jackal 05:28
Rise! Walk tall, yes, rise! Rise, for you are right! Am I the father, of a murdered child? Or am I the enemy who fights against your sacred Reich? Have I found my purpose, when you took it all? Maybe I’m the remedy for us a virus did befall? Leaving my colors behind Will there be anything making me blind? Fight! This is right! I’ll come to hurt you, cuz I am the foe Better get the drop on me, you better tell them what you know Cuz in the end we’re soldiers, bred to do as we’re told And if you are a patriot, better cheer when you hear them armors roll You have picked a good side Cuz if you’re decent, you know what is right When I take off my colors, leave them behind There will be nothing to make me blind We’ll come to get you War! I pray for blood You pray to God I pray to my gods that you're praying to yours Charging towards each other no questions asked You know you have picked a good side Cuz if you’re decent, you know what is right When I take my colors off, leave them behind There will be nothing making me blind

Nothing less than a three-headed dragon Smiling at me Lets in the sky as it floats thru the window Geryon the eel Yeah it takes me home As it glides past silently Cross the chasm to the far side of heaven Where clouds are thick and they take me in When nothing seems so tangible Grab it with your hands Twice the size if possible Until you understand The fraud is shrouded by the waterfall from seven We fall to eight Stare into eyes in the honest face of a man Lying to me Three bodies glide between the circles in darkness Hold on to what seems real to you To cross the river and to prove you’re immortal Complete the tasks and then let them know When nothing seems so tangible Grab it with your hands Twice the size if possible Until you understand Carried on scaly wings Soaring through time and space Fiery death and violent birth Life itself shrieks of lust Chaos floods the veins of all And nothing becomes everything Geryon
5.
You crave the horror of the ancient myths Even more (even more) than their simplicitiy The stuff of legends that can't be reasoned with Comfortably axiomatic, the only truth there is (cutting through the cold of night this hellish sound promises to bring the light) I see the torch on the horizon In the wind it's buring straight The fire's bright it's almost blinding And thou shall not be afraid It's the unholy noise! You try to force yourself upon me And me upon you, but I don't need it You try to see me but I elude your searching gaze Dismantle yourself and just believe in it I see the torch on the horizon In the wind it's burning straight The fire's bright it's almost blinding And thou shall not be afraid It's the unholy noise! Drag yourself out of the mud That's the godly advice I offer you I cannot grant divine asylum From what you insist to bring with you
6.
I Refuse 05:13
I refuse to be the very man Who is stuck where it all began Revel in demons all my life Struggling to hold on, on to the light As a weak man, terror is my war While your war is your terror, it’s bizarre So when the world you know turns into burning dust All you need to know is how to last It is a reason good enough to kill It’s not the price that counts - it’s who pays the bill As a poor man, terror is my war Your rich man’s war is our terror, so bizarre One of me and two of them Said the stone facing the birds Since the early days of man We feel alive only when it hurts And I feel like I’m holding on too tight Cuz I know you’re not alive But I feel that something’s gonna give If I die tonight, you’re gonna live

about

GREY MORAY's second EP Redeemers picks up where their first one, Savages left off. It completes the twisted epos of heroes and villains by portraying the other side of the coin.
Whereas Savages set out to unveil the hidden agendas, two-faced values, and skewed morals of our revered rolemodels and leaders, Redeemers means to submit another point of view. Depicting the motives of traditional Boogeymen like terrorists, drug addicts, draft dodgers, and critics of the establishment it speaks for the ones whose voices are usually discredited or silenced. Because those are the evil ones. They fight for a different cause, live by different principles and that is wrong. Redeemers, in combination with Savages, is about expanding your own field of view, assuming new vantage points, broadening your horizon, and breaking with outdated black-and-white doctrines.
In keeping with the theme, Redeemers was deliberately recorded entirely DIY, guerilla style. While Savages was produced inside the richly adorned walls of a fancy high-end studio, the raw aesthesis and single vocal tracks of Redeemers were recorded inside the dank rehearsal room. The honorable Budda Guedes of Mobydick Records Studio (Braga, Portugal) flew in to make this vision a reality and the result is an honest, brutal, no-compromise second half to the Savages-Redeemers concept. A truly worthy adversary to finish the tale of good and evil and the pervasive distortion of which is which.

about

Grey Moray Celle, Germany

Like their namesake Grey Moray bite hard and lurk deep. Their uncompromising assault with heavy walls of fuzzed up, boosted up, amped up guitars and heavy bass, layered with sharp-toothed vocals and incessant tides of percussive flux sweep your feet out from beneath you and take you down into their lair: the riff. ... more
